That diet stuff
Yet more on the problems with diet drinks from the University of Texas. A ten year study has linked low calorie soft drinks with a bulging waistline even in small amounts. Two or more fizzy drinks a day can cause your waistline to expand five times more compared to the average. This is when other lifestyle factors such as exercise, social class, smoking and education are taken in to account. This doesn’t surprise me as processed foods always carry a cost and artificial sweeteners still create excess insulin release which inevitably makes us more hungry. They are artificial for a reason. The same researchers have also linked in rats sweeteners to pancreas damage often seen in diabetics. Cut out the rubbish!
