Are you Drinking enough?
Water that is! Just as a little reminder for you, a study this week from America says that only 15-60% of boys and 10-54% of girls drink enough water. I expect that many of us also often fail to drink the suggested 1.5 litres a day. The findings from the American Journal of Clinical Nutrition also suggest that those children who drank the most plain water end up consuming fewer sweetened drinks and fewer high calorie foods. Even mild dehydration has been linked to fatigue, muscle weakness, headaches and impaired cognitive and mental performance. Here’s a simple plan- take a regular break to sip some water and get up from your desk and walk around. This will improve your focus and well being.
